But think about that for a minute&#8230;why would you do something, or anything for that matter, that does not bring you in the direction of your desired result?</p>
<p>See the primary challenge is that most real estate agents have some sense of clarity when it comes to how much money they would like to make, however, they never take the time to figure out how they are going to get there. Instead they look to the methods before them and copy them blindly expecting to get to the promised land.</p>
<p>Reality in the real estate sales business tends to strike quickly and often painfully with the quick exit from the business as the agent looks back on the wild ride wondering what in the world just happened&#8230;this was supposed to be the next great entrepreneurial opportunity where not only did they escape the confines of working for someone else but where they were also going to establish financial independence&#8230;how could that have gone awry?</p>
<p>The saddest part of all is that the agent will tend to blame themself or even worse beat up their self image labeling themselves as a failure never to return to the world of the entrepreneur again! How ridiculous really! Don&#8217;t think for one second that the top agents in the world did not make many of the same mistakes&#8230;the only difference is that they did not take them personally and decided to use them as nothing more than feedback, course correct and move forward.</p>
<p>So there&#8217;s the good news&#8230;learn from the best&#8230;and I mean those who are humble enough to tell you the truth about not only the &#8216;ups&#8217; but more importantly the &#8216;downs&#8217; and how they overcame! The road to succes in real estate is definitely paved with plenty of failures. So find a mentor whose story is real and just copy them and beware of the rest! Especially those they are NOT following the same old way that brings nothing but sales mediocrity!</p>
